How to make a photo from your mobile phone for high-quality text recognition?

For the high-quality text recognition (OCR) and, consequently, for the correct translation a photo made by a built-in camera of mobile device must meet certain minimum requirements:

1) The resolution of the camera have to be no less than 1MP, we recommend 2 megapixel or more
2) Uniform daylight. In low light it is recommended to use the camera's built-in backlight when available
3) The parallel arrangement of planes of camera and the object and no incline of the device body relative to a sheet of paper or a plane of the object with text
4) Horizontal arrangement of lines of text in the image
5) Sustainable fixed position camera at the time of shooting, no flicker and blur
6) No shadows, outside illumination and glare on the original image
7) No foreign objects and any elements in the frame - there should be only text
8) There are not more than one A4 page (landscape page) in the frame, filling the whole frame. We recommend a half of such page on a single frame

In the case of failure to this recommendations the quality of OCR are not guaranteed, although the MOCRT software produces automatic correction of the image to improve its quality before the text recognition.

But in any case, you are always have possibility to pre-evaluate the quality of recognition and translation of the example of a piece of text and then make payment via SMS and get the translation in full.

You should remember only one simple thing:

THE HIGHER QUALITY OF IMAGE, THE HIGHER QUALITY OF OCR AND TRANSLATION!
